As of right now, McCain and Obama are "presumptive" nominees, meaning they haven't officially received their party's nomination. The official nominations occur at the Party conventions. I've included those dates and locations below, so mark your calendars! (I realize that the Constitution Party and Libertarian conventions have already occurred, but I think they should also be included as the USA is a "two-party system" in appearance only.)
- April 23-26, 2008: 2008 Constitution Party National Convention in Kansas City, Missouri.
- May 23-26, 2008: 2008 Libertarian National Convention, in Denver, Colorado.
- July 10-13, 2008: 2008 Green Party National Convention, to be held in Chicago, Illinois.
- August 25-28, 2008: 2008 Democratic National Convention, to be held in Denver, Colorado.
- September 1-4, 2008: 2008 Republican National Convention, to be held in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Once the official nominations have been made, I will open a new INDY Poll with all the official candidates listed.
